Ruslana performed in Qormi, Malta, as a special guest at a concert by the Pinto Philharmonic Society St Sebastian Band. Together they interpreted her new single It’s Magical and her Wild Dances in a whole new way. Planned were only these two songs but Ruslana made a 20 minute energetic show out of it, playing drums, interacting with the enthusiastic audience, and showing her new exotic style of singing she gained in the Carpathian Mountains.
Ruslana: “It was amazing when the audience stood up when I started singing Wild Dances! I will never forget this moment. Thank you Malta!”
Other singers taking part were Claudia Faniello, who represented Malta at this year’s Eurovision, and Maltese talent Sebastian Calleja.
After the show at the Meet&Greet a never ending number of fans queued for a photo with Ruslana.
“In Malta, the name Ruslana became fashionable. I'm amazed! To my autograph session three girls came whose parents gave them my name after me winning the Eurovision in 2004. The girls are now 12 years old.”
